I co-founded the Positive Running Program in 2021 through my non-profit organization, the RISHI Foundation. This wellness initiative uses running to promote fitness and self-reliance among children and adolescents living with HIV. By integrating running early in life, we help set the stage for lifelong health, lowering vulnerability to illness and empowering youth to take control of their futures. What truly drives me is knowing that my work is making a tangible difference in the lives of children.
My coaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that running is not just about winning races, but about building a healthier, happier life. I aim to make running a consistent habit, fostering physical fitness, discipline, and mental resilience. My motto is simple yet powerful: 'Run for life.'
Having faced the loss of my parents to HIV at a young age, I understand firsthand the impact of adversity on young children. Rather than allowing hardship to define me, I chose to confront them with determination and a commitment to living a healthy, fulfilling life. I believe in running as a medium of transformation and a way to spread the message of hope.
