I wasn’t a natural born runner, failing the timed mile in middle school & struggling with my weight throughout high school
and college. Being an athlete seemed so easy for others, but not for me. I associated health with eating less & doing more cardio. It wasn't until I discovered the impact on proper nutrition & strength training that I was able to truly transform my body & my performance and create a sustainable, exciting and motivating lifestyle around running & fitness.
I am now a 2x Boston Qualifier, Ironman finisher, mom of 3 and run & endurance nutrition coach.
I understand that female runners juggling a career, children, aging parents, while aging themselves, have different priorities, scheduling concerns & lifestyles, but I do NOT believe that these women cannot continue to improve & find fulfillment in challenging themselves, no matter their age!
My coaching philosophy includes nutrition (both every day fueling & performance fueling), periodization (your training should not look the same year round!) & community at the foundation. I love to give athletes a good challenging workout that they complete and think "wow I can't believe I did that", also provide the guidance on how to eat well so their body can recover & get stronger from it and my Run Fueled & Faster community connects them with other women to share the journey with.
I also help female runners with nutrition & weight loss goals during their off and base building seasons.
