I’ve worked with runners of various backgrounds and experience levels (everything from training for their first race to a marathon PR and the Leadville 100). I enjoy the satisfaction of helping others reach their goals and enjoy working together to problem solve everything from race day nutrition to pacing strategy.
My philosophy is to break training down into manageable pieces that promote consistency and lay a strong foundation for success. I consider each element—training, nutrition, strength and conditioning, speed work, hills, rest, and recovery—and create a personalized plan that aligns with your goals and fits your schedule. I value collaboration with my athletes and encourage open communication and feedback. Much of my inspiration comes from my own coaches, and I believe we can all learn from each other’s experiences. Ultimately, my top priority is to ensure that the joy of running remains intact. While some days and workouts may be challenging, as long as we enjoy what we’re doing, our consistency and effort will thrive.
