Although I have worked with an array of clients, trail runners and hikers are who I best work with. I see a great opportunity for trail goers to build strength and endurance to feel strong on the uphill, stable in their footings, and controlled on the descents. As for personal experience, I began several years ago as a cardio queen, turned gainz city gym bruh, to now a hybrid gal. I have raced on both road and trail, and recently ran the Grand Canyon Rim-to-Rim. Outside of coaching, you can find me hiking, running, climbing, camping, hanging with my dog, or baking goodies.
My philosophy is to meet each individual where they are. Every person has a different level of experience and way of learning, therefore I approach each as such. There's no "secret" or "one-size fits all" to achieving goals. It's specific and consistent actions that lead to accomplishing goals.
In my coaching, I always put how someone feels first. I want each person to feel strong and confident in their body and abilities.
I believe communication, honesty, and open-mindedness are essential for both coach and client success. I expect clients to be respectful, communicative, and willing to learn in order for me to provide the best coaching possible, as well as allow the client to get the most out of our training.
