I signed up for the NYC Marathon in 2018 on a whim and caught the running bug in the process. I made the jump to ultramarathons in 2022 and am always looking for new adventures in the NYC area—whether that be finding a new trail in the Hudson Valley or running every bridge in Manhattan in one go (there are 21 bridges for those wondering). Beyond my own running, I coach individuals in the marathon and ultramarathon distances. And I also have the privilege of annually coaching a 60+ team of marathon runners who run to raise money for NYC school kids through the NYC Marathon charity program.
I believe that running is ultimately not about the races, but about staying healthy and building strong physical and mental habits that can translate to daily life. As a coach, I prioritize helping people find joy in running and seeking out new adventures and challenges that are meaningful to them. I know that every runner’s journey is unique, and I pride myself on being accessible and empathetic to the daily struggles you are sure to endure. I’ll work closely with you to set up training plans that work with your schedule, help you avoid burnout, and take that next step towards a new PR or distance. But even more important, I’ll help you maintain a love and passion for running that can last your entire life.
