About Philip

I was born & raised in Los Angeles, California, and have been living in Europe for many years. I am currently living near Barcelona, Spain. I have had unique opportunities to work with a variety of athletes across a range of sports. I am currently Head of Nutrition for an invitational rugby club, and work with pro football (soccer) players, ATP-ranked 169 tennis player, and, of course, a handful of male and female ultra-runners.

Coaching Philosophy

Education is a key element in helping any athlete or individual to better understand the workings of his or her body. My objective is to make the mechanisms of nutrition more understandable. A pro-active, preventative approach to health and fitness is one of the cornerstones of Mush Nutrition.

My approach to nutrition is to improve recovery & performance while reducing inflammation through food choices. This pays great dividends for increased athletic performance, as well as offering tremendous benefits for overall health. Mush Nutrition creates personalised nutritional programs for athletes. No two athletes are the same; personal attention is crucial to meeting individual nutritional needs.
