I raced competitively throughout high school and college receiving All-State honors, Sportswoman of the Year, Freshman of the Year, and set cross country records at my alma mater, Hollins University- where I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science Biology degree and psychology minor. After college, I expanded my race repertoire to include many more 5ks, 10ks, half-marathons and marathons. I’ve been coaching since the beginning of 2022 helping local & virtual runners, across all different age ranges and abilities be smarter, motivated, fitter, more prepared runners.
My philosophy behind running and coaching is that I want to this running thing for the rest of my life. And that's how I approach my own running, coaching, and learning. I ask myself, what things can I do and continue doing to ensure that I keep running for as long as I can? To me and my runner's that means we're incorporating strength training, we're taking rest days seriously, doing yoga, and ultimately building healthy habits that support our running goals. As your coach, we’ll work together to build a holistic training plan that reflects you and your running goals.
