I grew up with a love of running, from doing my first 5k in the third grade to competing in Division I Cross Country and Track & Field. I became a certified personal trainer in 2015 and have been coaching ever since, including several running certifications and even starting a women's running community, Strong Runner Chicks which features a podcast and blog for women in the running community. My racing background includes ultra/trail running, road races, and OCR. My own running passion stems from challenging myself, staying curious, and the many connections that come from running.
I believe there is an athlete within all of us and encourage everyone I coach to develop this view within themselves, while also taking a whole-person approach. When coaching, I consider someone's other life factors, which ultimately impact their training (and vice versa). My background includes studies in Nutrition, Psychology, and Strength Training, which helps inform my holistic approach to coaching. I advocate for my athletes and strive to help them reach their full potential through a collaborative approach backed by continuous learning, relentless curiosity, and strong communication.
