10+ years
My passion lies in preparing individuals for human-powered off-road adventures (trail running, mountain biking, hiking, backpacking, rucking, triathlon, and multi-sport). I aim to support athletes in their strength training and aerobic development for endurance sports, utilizing a range of modalities such as CrossFit®, Olympic weightlifting, barbell, and kettlebell training to enhance durability, prevent injury, and develop time-efficient programs for athletes aged 35+ who seek sustained performance over the long term.
Grounded in science, governed by practicality.
My coaching philosophy centers on systematic method selection. I believe "Methods are many, principles are few. Methods often change, principles never do." My focus is on building durability—the ability to sustain performance and avoid injury over decades, rather than chasing short-term gains. I specialize in helping time-crunched athletes aged 35-65 refuse to let age define their performance limits through evidence-based training that bridges exercise science and real-world application. Results aren't guaranteed—they're earned.
