I"m the founder of Zone 8 Endurance, where I coach athletes globally across triathlon, running, and hybrid. Originally from Ireland and now based in Melbourne, Australia, I balance my work as a full-time business analyst in the tech sector with a thriving coaching business, so I understand the realities of training around a busy lifestyle.
As an athlete, I’ve completed multiple Ironman 70.3 races, full Ironman events, and marathons, including Sydney and Melbourne Marathons , and I actively compete in Hyrox and other endurance events.
My approach is built on the belief that performance should fit within life, not consume it. Every athlete I work with has different goals, demands, and time constraints. I build programs that are fully individualised, flexible, and grounded in purpose.
I place a strong emphasis on consistency, communication, and education. Athletes perform best when they understand why they’re doing something, not just what they’re doing. Using data from platforms like Training Peaks, I combine objective metrics with subjective feedback to make every session count, ensuring training is productive, not just busy.
I value the long-term process over short-term perfection. My goal is to help athletes build durability, confidence, and self-awareness so they can perform at a high level year-round, whether they’re chasing a world-championship qualification, a new personal best, or simply to feel better
