About OLIVER

I’ve spent my career surrounded by sport. For over a decade I’ve worked with some big names in sport as a producer, telling their stories and getting a front-row seat to how professional athletes think, prepare, and perform under pressure. When you spend that long behind the scenes, you start to see the patterns: what gives athletes confidence, how they handle setbacks, and the strategies they use to keep going when it matters most. Most of all though, you see that they are just humans; the same as the rest of us.

Coaching Philosophy

I’m not here to drown you in jargon or promise you’ll smash PBs every other week. I’m here to help you run further, stronger, and with more confidence than you thought possible. Coaching with me isn’t about shaving a few seconds off your 5K time (unless that’s what you’re into). It’s about preparing you for the long game: ultras, marathons, personal challenges, or whatever big adventure you’ve got in your head.

What I believe:

Ordinary people can do extraordinary things. You don’t need to be an elite athlete to run big miles. You just need the right plan, mindset, and support.

Running is as mental as it is physical. Your legs will get tired. Your head will want to quit. That’s where the real coaching happens.

Strategy matters. I’m obsessed with mapping out race strategies, plan Bs, and plan Cs. Because in ultras, something always goes wrong. The trick is knowing how to adapt.
