I’ve completed 10 ultra marathons; 8 in the past 15 months, 7 of those being multi-stage 220-250m races. Each one has taught me something different about courage, patience, and the power of community. These experiences shaped how I guide others: with empathy, encouragement, and a whole lot of enthusiasm. I’m not a ‘coach’ in the traditional sense — I’m a mentor who’s been there, cried, laughed, battled the mental and physical demons and come through the other side with a big smile (and yes, sore legs!). I want to walk this journey with you.
My approach is simple: progress over perfection. I believe in consistency, balance, and self-belief. Training for an ultra is about growing stronger, mentally and physically, week by week.
From my own experience, the biggest lesson is to stay adaptable. Things won’t always go to plan — but that’s part of the adventure.
