I am an age-group triathlete with five finishes at the Ironman World Championship in Kona and multiple qualifications, most recently in 2025. I hold a degree in sport sciences and recently completed the UESCA Triathlon Coach Certification to refresh and formalize my coaching knowledge using modern, evidence-based principles.
Outside of sport, I work full-time as a software engineer, which strongly shapes my coaching perspective. I understand the realities of demanding careers, family commitments, travel, and fluctuating schedules — and how these factors impact training consistency and recov
My coaching philosophy puts the athlete’s life first. Sustainable progress comes from training that fits real-world constraints and can be executed consistently over time. I’m influenced by modern endurance methodologies, including principles associated with the Norwegian model: clear intensity control, appropriate load distribution, and a focus on repeatable high-quality sessions rather than excessive volume.
