10+ years
Having coached a variety of sports since an being a teenager, I have many years developing athletes and leading groups in the mountains. Since the running bug bit in 2001, I have had a focus on running longer events - mainly marathons - but since 2015 I started to combine my love for the trails into my running, road running was subsequently ditched!
After building experience around races such as UTS, Spine, Lakeland, Endurance Life, etc - I help other runners transition to running long on trails and help athletes to achieve their goals of completing a challenging race distance.
Knowledge and passion - all with a sense of enjoyment.
This is about you and your goals.
Though the training will be structured and often tough - it is all about a sense of achievement in the day-to-day. Small wins in training lead to bigger wins in life - not just in your racing. Personal growth occurs in the small gains we achieve day-to-day - mental toughness, problem solving, fitness, strength, eating habits, etc can mean more than a great race time!
My coaching style is open, honest, transparent and in partnership with all my athletes.
