About Johnathon

I have spent most of my professional career in corporate sales roles, traveling all over the country, while juggling running and training. After 13 years, I took a leap of faith, and opened up a specialty running retail store, acquired my coaching certification, and began pursuing a career in an industry that I am incredibly passionate about. Over the years, I have helped several people with feedback and advice towards their running goals. Now, I am grateful to hear people's individual stories, and walk/run alongside them in their running journeys!

Coaching Philosophy

When I started running 15 years ago, it was mostly to be a more active/healthy person. As I started to become more passionate, I trained and trained until I couldn't train anymore. There came a point when I needed more structure and guidance. It was at that time that I hired my first running coach, who helped me to reach PR's across all distances that I never thought were attainable.

My entire philosophy is built around the concept of meeting people exactly where they are at in their running journey – new to running, returning to running, chasing new health/fitness goals, active moms, busy parents – all of it. Every runner has a 'why' and understanding how that pertains to each runner, while finding the right balance that fits into every other aspect of their professional, personal, and social life has been critically important.
