After my first thru hike in 2022, I fell in love with spending as much time out on trail as possible. I did what most thru hikers do to scratch that trail itch, and dove head first into Ultrarunning. As a first time mom currently training towards my own running goals postpartum, I hope to help other women train and continue to accomplish their goals through motherhood. Pregnancy does not make you fragile- you can keep working towards your passions and continue to be an athlete. You do not need to be elite to do amazing things.
Training is meant to bring you joy and be sustainable. I love getting creative with exercise to fit into your lifestyle and your own passions. Ultrarunning takes time, so use that time training to go on adventures and explore new places. Yes, to be successful you need to do the work, but its also important to laugh at the chaos and use every struggle as a learning opportunity to grow. I am all for finding those insane goals and building the bricks to make it happen.
