I am in the military for almost 30 years. Fitness has always been part of my life.
I started to enjoy running since I was a school kid and the passion grew over the years and I find myself running more and more.
I am also a certified personal trainer.
I hope to help aspiring runners to reach their potential, or those who just like to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
I believe in “pain today, stronger tomorrow”
The pain here doesn’t mean subjecting one to extreme fatigue aimlessly without a specific and reasonable purpose. However, we can’t avoid pain (fatigue, exhaustion, muscle soreness, out of breath) if we aim to improve our fitness. The elites make what they do looks easy because of the countless hours of hardworking they put it.
I believe in “showing up is better than pushing harder”. This doesn’t mean no hard work is required. That would contradict my first principle. Consistency, determination and patience is key to any fitness progression. Pushing harder in hope of catching up after an absence of 2 weeks will not bring you far.
