I’m Alex, a running coach and endurance athlete with over 15 years of running and 5 years of coaching experience. I’ve completed 20+ marathons and dozens of ultramarathons, and I’m currently focused on 24h and 48h ultra-distance racing. I help recreational and ambitious runners build consistency, avoid burnout, and improve performance through structured, evidence-based training, real-world racing experience, and honest feedback—no hype, just sustainable progress.
My coaching philosophy is grounded in Lydiard-based training principles, with a strong emphasis on aerobic development as the foundation of endurance performance. I prioritize consistent, progressive mileage, appropriate intensity distribution, and long-term adaptation rather than short-term gains.
Training is periodized to build aerobic capacity first, then layer strength, speed, and race-specific work on top—always respecting recovery and individual limits. I use objective markers (training load, pace trends, fatigue signals) alongside athlete feedback to guide decisions.
The goal is not just faster race times, but resilient athletes who understand their training, stay healthy, and perform well over years of running—not just one season.
