About Heidi

I am Heidi! I am a mom of 3 girls and 1 boy. Life is fun, crazy and busy. I have been a Doctor of Physical Therapy since 2009 working in outpatient orthopedics with specializations working with runners, pelvic health, and all pregnancy related issues. I fell in love with running in college when I started running for fitness. I have run all distances between 5k and full marathons as well as triathlons from sprint to full Ironman distances. My greatest joy as both a coach and PT is seeing patients/clients fulfill their fitness and life goals as they reach for the next goal.

Coaching Philosophy

My background in physical therapy has led me to focus on the whole body, during healing and in fitness in order to keep pushing forward. I have a strong understanding of how our body works, rests, and recovers in order to create the best environment for client’s to achieve their goals. Although a primary focus in coaching athletes is running, we must also realize strength, nutrition and self care are also just as important. I work with clients to meet their desired needs and wants within their abilities and timeframes while also respecting their bodies abilities to rest and recover to be ready for the next key workouts. My coaching philosophy is holistic and will cover cardio fitness, strength, power and muscular strength as key components to reach a desired goal and outcome.
