azvan Neagoe is a UESCA-certified running coach and active-duty U.S. Army soldier with experience in the 75th Ranger Regiment and 10th Special Forces Group. He specializes in helping beginner runners build their endurance, tactical athletes prepare for military selections and PT tests, and endurance runners progress from their first race to ultramarathons. His coaching focuses on structured progression, durability, and smart training to improve performance while reducing injury risk.
My coaching philosophy is built on consistency, structure, and long-term development. The goal isn’t just short-term results, but building durable, well-rounded athletes who can train hard, recover well, and continue improving over time. I emphasize aerobic base development, progressive overload, and intelligent programming to improve endurance while minimizing injury risk. Most athletes benefit from doing the majority of their training at easier aerobic intensities, with strategically placed quality sessions to develop speed and race-specific fitness. Whether working with beginner runners, tactical athletes, or endurance competitors, my focus is on sustainable progress, discipline, and helping athletes reach goals they once thought were out of reach.
