My path as a runner has been shaped less by a traditional background and more by self-coaching, study, and learning through experience. Over time, that gave me a practical view of what helps runners improve: consistency, structure, and training that is challenging but sustainable. I started Neu Rhythm Running to offer coaching that is individualized, honest, and grounded in the realities of everyday life, not just ideal training conditions.
I believe good coaching is less about chasing perfect workouts and more about building training you can actually sustain. Progress comes from consistency, honest feedback, and the ability to recover well enough to keep building over time. I focus on strong aerobic development first, then layer in more race-specific work when the athlete is ready for it. Easy days should feel easy, hard days should have purpose, and the overall structure should fit the runner rather than forcing every athlete into the same model. I also use data when it helps, including pace, power, heart rate, and training trends, but always in service of better decisions rather than blind rule-following.
