About Kyle

I’m Kyle Stanley, a UESCA-certified coach based in the Greater Boston area. As a full-time public school teacher, I’ve mastered the discipline required to balance a busy life with high-level training. I’ve coached myself to a 2:57 marathon and am currently chasing a BQ to run the historic streets of my home city. With multiple marathons and two ultramarathons under my belt, my goal is to turn this passion into a career by helping you reach your potential. I advocate for the "Tortoise" approach: avoiding the distractions of the "Hare" to find success through steady, relentless progress.

Coaching Philosophy

True progress is built on the philosophy of the Tortoise: the belief that steady, relentless consistency always outlasts the erratic sprint of the Hare. In a world of distractions, it is easy to fall into the "Hare" trap—chasing shortcuts, obsessing over the latest gear, or jumping between trendy fads. These are not the things that move the needle. Real success is found in the small, everyday actions and the discipline to get the work done even on the days you don’t feel like it.
There are no shortcuts to a goal worth reaching. This journey is about more than just mileage; it is a total lifestyle transformation. By allowing running to serve as the catalyst for better sleep and cleaner eating, you create a powerful feedback loop where your life improves your running, and your running improves your life. Consistent work, not quick fixes, is the only way to the finish line.
