I’m originally from the North of England and have lived in Canada for 20 years. Alongside my work as a personal trainer, I’ve spent more than two decades running trails and ultras, from 25K races to 200-mile endurance events, including the Sahara Desert. My experience spans both coaching and personal competition, allowing me to support athletes of all levels with practical experience.
My coaching is centred on the individual, recognising that every athlete brings different goals, lifestyles, and responses to training. Plans are tailored and adaptable, blending evidence-based training principles with lessons learned from years in endurance sport. I prioritise consistency, recovery, and steady progression. Athletes are supported to build confidence and self-awareness so they can train effectively and adjust when life or physiology changes. Whether someone is new to running or progressing to longer distances, the focus is on creating a balanced approach that supports performance while maintaining health and enjoyment over time.
