I am a 55-year-old Doctor of Chiropractic with 26 years of clinical experience and a UESCA Certified Ultramarathon Coach based in Las Vegas/Henderson, NV. My ultra journey began after two Ironman finishes in 2008 and 2009, and I have competed at distances from 50K to 10 miles over 17 years.
At 6'1" and 200+ lbs with a size 15 shoe, I am proof that big runners finish ultras. I have raced at weights from 210 to 248 lbs and understand the demands larger-framed athletes face better than most coaches today. Whether chasing a first 5K or first 100-miler, I coach body, training, and mindset.
I believe the most honest coaching credential is lived experience — not a perfect record, but a real one. Nine DNFs over 17 years taught me more than any finish line ever could.
TRAIN THE WHOLE ATHLETE. As a Doctor of Chiropractic, I build plans that account for how your body moves, recovers, and breaks down — keeping you healthy for the long haul.
EARN EVERY MILE. No shortcuts. I build aerobic base, strength, and race-specific fitness progressively and intelligently — no junk miles, no overtraining, no ego.
LEARN FROM FAILURE. Dehydration, blisters, pacing, fueling, and injury — I have experienced every one. That curriculum is now yours.
REAL RUNNERS WELCOME. I do not coach for a body type or a pace. I coach commitment. Show up, do the work, and I will get you to that finish line.
Big Feet. Big Miles. Big Goals.
