Hello! My name is Jess and I am a Los Angeles native, Physical Therapist, and long time runner. I began my running career after running my first marathon at age 12 which was made possible by a non-profit program called Student Run LA. Student Run LA helps underserved students by granted them a covered opportunity to train for the Los Angeles Marathon. I crossed the finish line in 2003 and has been running ever since. Running is a very important part of my life and firmly believe that anyone can optimize their performance with a some solid work, consistency, and patience.
The most important variables in running is long term consistency. It works.
Playing the long game is the safest and more effective way to get to where you want, like all good things it takes time for your body to develop in optimal machine.
I also respect life. Many athletes I coach are every day people like me, and making training for for your life is also important. Yes training is hard but it should not feel like a job you want to quit. As I coach I want to add to your training journey not feel like Im taking away what you love.
