About Armando

My name is Armando López-Torres. I'm a long-distance runner, marathoner, 2nd Dan in Taekwondo, and passionate about human performance. I've competed in endurance and combat sports, experiences that taught me the value of discipline, resilience, and consistent effort. My interest in training led me to delve into exercise physiology, sports planning, and evidence-based coaching. My goal is to help other athletes reach their full potential and achieve goals that once seemed unattainable.

Coaching Philosophy

My training philosophy is based on the idea that every athlete is unique and must develop their full potential through intelligent planning, disciplined execution, and constant adaptation. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all formulas, but rather in processes that respect individual characteristics, strengths, and limitations.

Training should build performance, but also character. Daily consistency, the ability to adapt to adversity, and the continuous pursuit of improvement are as important as any session or method. My approach combines science, practical experience, and observation to make decisions based on evidence, not trends.

I aim to develop athletes who are physically and mentally strong, capable of performing under pressure, overcoming obstacles, and maintaining their commitment to their long-term goals. Sustainable progress will always take precedence over quick results.
