Coach Profile
- Running (marathon or shorter)
- Beginner
- Intermediate
My name is Chris, and I am incredibly passionate about running. I was a track and field athlete in high school, where I specialized in sprint events such as the 100m and 200m, as well as the long jump and triple jump.
I discovered distance running in 2023, and I have loved the journey ever since. Running has challenged me, taught me discipline, and helped me grow both physically and mentally. The sport has played a significant role in shaping the person I am today, and for that, I will always be grateful.
I believe developing positive relationships as a coach is one of the most important aspects of coaching. If you do not trust your coach, how can you feel comfortable talking to them? Would you feel confident and prepared on race day?
Without a strong coach-athlete relationship, many athletes may feel unprepared, which can negatively affect their performance. As a coach, I strive to be fully transparent with my athletes and encourage open communication about their training, goals, and concerns.
I believe in progressive, purposeful training. More miles do not automatically mean faster running. Athletes who follow a structured, individualized training plan are often the ones who see the greatest improvements and achieve their best performances.
