Debbie's favorite class in high school was PE. This lead her to pursue education in Health and Fitness following it with a graduate degree in Fitness Management. She has a deep love for fitness and loves sharing it. While teaching fitness, coaching and leading yoga classes Debbie has trained and competed at a high level in trail and ultra trail races all over the world for the past 25 years. She has learned from these experiences and uses them to be a better coach. She not only learns "on the job" but also continues to read, completes new certifications and listens to podcasts.
Debbie's coaching philosophy is holistic and individualist. She believes that a good training program takes into consideration an athletes work life, family life, physical ability, likes (and dislikes) and stress level. Debbie works with an athlete on goal setting then connects with them where they are at each week so she can build a custom plan that alters with the stressors and craziness of life. Every athlete is unique therefor every training plan is unique and every changing.
