While practicing as a PT I noticed a huge gap between getting clients back to running after injury and getting them back to actual training/performance. I became a coach to help bridge that gap and use my knowledge of the body to help you not only get back to training, but learning injury prevention strategies along the way to keep you running healthy. I have been an avid runner since college and love the marathon. I coach XC and track at the local high school in addition to managing my PT practice. My free time is spent enjoying the mountains and trails in Montana with my dog.
Happy runners are healthy runners. My approach to training is helping runners feel challenged but still enjoy the process - because if it's not fun, what are we even doing out there? I use my background and knowledge as a Doctor of Physical Therapy to provide strength training consultations, injury prevention and management strategies, and mental training to provide a holistic and joy based approach to keep you running healthy and happy.
