I describe myself as above all a Runner, then a Global Nomad and thirdly a Sociologist. In motion is how life happens, how we exist. The foundation to that, well-being. My personal goal is to stay well so in motion doing what I love to do.
As a global nomad I have experienced life in different ways, a sense of perspective, adaptation, open mindedness, flexibility.
As an endurance athlete, I have learnt the importance of starting from where I am, not from where I want to be; chunking, mile by mile is how I get to the finish line; the power of multi-sensory imagery, focus.
To perform we need to be happy in motion. This requires a whole-person and big-picture perspective. My clients tend to be working moms, juggling a plethora of moving pieces. It's about fitting a goal, a passion, a desire to feel better, healthier, fitter, into a busy life. My philosophy is to take take all of that into account and partner with my client to help them get to where they want to go.
As a Health & Wellness coach, I am understand the role women's health in sports and life in general.
On a practical level, as a Personal Trainer, my Running Plans always have a strength training component. For injury prevention and for Performance.
As a Nutrition Coach and soon to be Endurance Sports Nutrition Certified, I offer the option to bring that into any program.
