About Mirko

My journey in sport performance started with a personal transformation. As an overweight young athlete, football helped me develop discipline and confidence, eventually leading me to Eccellenza in Italy and NCAA Division I in the U.S., where I earned a 50% athletic scholarship. When the financial challenge made that path unsustainable, I discovered running. What began as a new challenge became a passion and led me to build my career around performance, strength, injury prevention, and evidence-based training. Today, I combine my experience and education to help reach their potential.

Coaching Philosophy

I’m an Athletic Trainer and Personal Trainer specializing in strength and conditioning, running performance, and injury prevention.

My approach combines evidence-based training principles with individualized programming, focusing on the specific needs, goals, training history, and physical characteristics of each athlete. I work with athletes to develop strength, speed, running efficiency, and resilience while building sustainable performance over time.

I believe effective coaching goes beyond following a standardized training plan. It requires understanding how an athlete responds to training, monitoring progress, and continuously adapting the program to maximize performance while managing fatigue and injury risk.

My goal is to help athletes train smarter, perform at their best, and develop the physical qualities that allow them to progress consistently and sustainably.
