A few people are surprised when they find out that my first half and full marathons were on trails, not a typical road race. Like most people who venture into ultras, I wanted to see how far my mind and body could take me. From 50K's in very remote mountains with 12,000+ ft of gain, to flat 1 mile loops for 24 hours, and everything in between. I love helping people and have been working in the running industry since 2019, where I have learned a lot from many of the top brands in footwear, nutrition, recovery, etc.
Perfecting adaptability over time. Ultras come in varying distances and difficulty levels. This means an athlete needs to be ready to not only cover a specific distance, but also many types of terrain, usually in less than ideal situations. My goal is to get an athlete ready to conquer any challenge, both mentally and physically. To be ready to adapt to any unplanned issues that can show up. As well as meeting, and/or surpassing their race day goals, all while having fun and enjoying the process of course! You can't fake fitness, so if you're going to train you might as well do it right, push yourself, and unlock new potentials!
