About GABRIELE

I'm Gabriele, a UESCA Certified Triathlon Coach with a Bachelor's degree in Sports Science (Scienze Motorie) and a certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist. I'm currently completing a Master's degree in Human Nutrition Science, which allows me to combine solid training periodization with a genuine, evidence-based understanding of sports nutrition. This combination lets me look at an athlete's performance and recovery as a whole, rather than treating training load and nutrition as two separate issues to manage independently.

Coaching Philosophy

I believe coaching is not about handing an athlete a generic plan, but about building a program around who they actually are: their schedule, their recovery capacity, their strengths and limiters. Periodization gives the structure, but the real work is in adjusting it as the athlete's life and response to training evolve — a plan that never changes with the person following it isn't a good plan for long. I pay close attention to the balance between training stress and recovery, since progress happens in the adaptation, not just in the session itself. Nutrition is part of this same picture: not a separate topic bolted onto training, but something that directly supports how an athlete trains, recovers, and performs on race day. My goal as a coach is to give every athlete a program that is demanding where it needs to be, sustainable in daily life, and genuinely built around them.
