I love all kinds of running, whether it's a 1 mile race straight up and down a hill, or a 50 mile mountain ultra (and even the odd road race!). I coach all abilities and experience levels, whether you're completely new to the trails, or are aiming for the podium in the toughest ultras. I'm also a qualified sports therapist, so I am well placed to coach runners through injury, or those coming back from injury. The Lake District is my home, so I have a deep knowledge of all the local races whether ultra, fell or trail, and I'm an official coaching partner of The LAP.
My coaching is built around you. Everyone has a different lifestyle, work commitments, family life, as well as different goals and motivations to run. This means coaching has to fit you as an individual. When you work with me, we have a catch-up call every week to discuss the training and chat about everything else running-related. So the plan is built around you and is adaptable to whatever life is throwing up. We also have plenty of time to chat about all the extras that are just as important as the running itself – fuelling, strength work, kit, routes, recces, goals etc. I’m all about communication and building a relationship with my runners, so I’ll always take your feedback on board, and you’re free to message me any time with questions and issues.
