I’m a practicing physician, recreational runner, and triathlon coach. My endurance journey began in 2015, when I started running recreationally. As I looked for ways to improve, I became curious about structured training and began exploring different methods. That experience gave me a firsthand appreciation for consistency, patience, and finding an approach that fits the individual.
I began triathlon in 2022, and that same year I started coaching my teammates. Being both an athlete and a coach has deepened my interest in how people develop and pursue goals in endurance sport. I enjoy helping
My coaching is grounded in evidence-based training principles and shaped around the individual. I start by understanding an athlete’s goals, experience, current commitments, and health considerations. From there, I aim to build purposeful, progressive training that is challenging enough to encourage improvement and practical enough to follow consistently.
I see health and safety as part of good coaching and lasting progress. Training load, recovery, and how an athlete is responding all matter, so plans should be adjusted thoughtfully as circumstances change. I value open communication and a collaborative approach: the athlete’s feedback helps guide the process. My goal is to support sustainable improvement, whether that means pursuing race performance, building fitness, or making endurance sport a rewarding part of a healthy life.
