About Cory

Hello everyone, I am 54 years old and live in New Orleans, LA. I have been an athlete and coach my whole life, from basketball to golf to soccer to running, and thoroughly enjoy helping others reach their goals. My son is off to college at Loyola Chicago, so my time now is taken up with my dog, Franz, and my running. I am a sports physical therapist and work with a variety of teams in the area in terms of training, conditioning, and coaching.

Coaching Philosophy

To start with, my coaching philosophy is very client-focused, my approach to you will be different from what I offer, and how I approach, someone else. I believe in taking the time to learn who you are from a personal and physical perspective, then mesh that with your running goals in order to develop a good, sound program that will allow you to safely and confidently reach your running and fitness goals!
In addition to my background in physical therapy and coaching, I have graduate degrees in Sport Psychology and I have worked with many athletes on their mental skills, goal setting, performance anxiety control, program development, etc.
Finally, I have coached at many levels, from the youth level to professional ranks, and thoroughly enjoy the process of helping individuals and teams maximize themselves, both physically and mentally, and help them reach their goals.
