As a kid, I hated running and sports. I dreaded the mile run day in PE. In college, I started to run to lose weight, but then I fell in love with the community. Runners are such fun and welcoming people! And then gradually, I started to fall in love with the sport, too. Shortly after the pandemic, I decided to shift careers from special education into fitness, starting with getting my NASM-CPT, then becoming a run coach. I feel so fulfilled working with athletes and helping them achieve their goals.
Running is for everyone, from the elite runner to the back-of-the-pack runner. If you run, you're a runner. If you have a body that runs, you have a runner's body. Forward is a pace.
