About Christi

At the end of 2023, I took a leap of faith by stepping away from a 20-year career as a Vice President of Operations leading a team of 50 to follow my heart into the running world. What began as a personal passion many years ago, evolved into a calling: to help others discover their potential through the sport that has shaped so much of my own life. My mission is to elevate the running community by empowering athletes to not only train smarter but understand the “why” behind their training, nutrition, and recovery. Coaching, to me, is about more than miles.

Coaching Philosophy

At This Blonde Runs Coaching, my philosophy centers on a customized, personal approach designed to bring out the best in every athlete. I believe that true progress starts with open communication, mutual trust, and a shared commitment to growth.

My mission is not only to help athletes achieve their goals but also to elevate the running community by making education a cornerstone of the coaching process. Every athlete I work with is guided to become more knowledgeable, confident, and self-sufficient by understanding the why behind their training, nutrition, and recovery.

Through regular checkpoints and honest feedback, I assess progress, help to refine goals, and adjust training as needed to stay aligned with evolving needs. I emphasize training as a lifestyle, one that integrates smart nutrition, sustainable habits, and a strong mindset to enhance performance and overall well-being
