About Adriano

I've lived and studied in various countries before finding my home in northern Italy with my family. During my youth, I was a competitive fondo swimmer and mountains lover: I spent much time in several solitary multi-day hikes. Around 2015, triggered by second son birth, I gradually became enthusiast of ultra-trail running, while also delving into the ultra-endurance scientific aspects. In addition to pursuing my own athletic endeavors, I am committed to assisting others in finding joy in ultra-endurance activities, helping them reconnect with nature and ultimately with themselves.

Coaching Philosophy

My coaching philosophy revolves around a scientifically based and holistic approach to ultra-distance trail running.
I believe in tailoring individualized training plans that consider athlete's goals and their unique strengths or weaknesses. Progression is the key to gradually build endurance, strength, mental toughness and emotional resilience while minimizing the risk of injury or burnout. As well technical skill development is prioritized alongside physical conditioning, ensuring athletes are adept in navigating varied terrain and conditions while respectful of nature.
Moreover, adaptability and flexibility are integral components of my coaching style: I recognize that athletes have diverse needs, schedules, and abilities, so I adjust plans accordingly.
My goal is to empower athletes to connect with nature, embrace adventure and safely unlock their full potential as runners.
