About Jason

I'm a husband, father of 4, and a fitness & performance coach with over 15 years experience. I'm also a former collegiate football player who didn't start running until my mid 30's. I identify with those who have started this journey later in their lives while trying to balance family, work, health priorities. I understand the importance of strength training as it pertains to longevity and so I became a certified UESCA Running Coach to bring my coaching experience to help masters endurance athletes build resilient bodies that can sustain the high stresses running can create.

Coaching Philosophy

You must be strong in order to run. You don't run to get in shape, you get in shape in order to run. Proper strength training progression helps your muscles, bones, and joints handle the demands of your increasing aerobic adaptations. As a certified UESCA Running Coach, I apply my knowledge and experience in strength & performance coaching to help endurance athletes increase running performance and resilience thru periodized strength training programs in alignment with their running programs.
