My life journey has taken me from the beautiful but flat landscapes of Lithuania to the stunning mountains of Switzerland. Every day feels like a new chapter in a storybook adventure, and I'm living my best life with my wife and our adorable St. Bernard Madeira in the heart of the Alps.
I used to work in a corporate environment, always chasing deadlines and trying to climb the ladder of success. But you know what? That wasn't my jam. So, I started running on the trails, chasing my dreams instead of deadlines and coaching others to become better runners.
I genuinely believe in the concept of lifelong learning. It's a never-ending process that I thoroughly enjoy and embrace. There is no correct path to training; it is about trying different things and seeing what works best, so a constant feedback loop with the runner is essential. Running plans are as good as they are flexible and fully attuned to runners' needs, goals, and abilities. There is also an enormous importance of performance data to analyze and gauge progress, but you have to take it with the grain of salt; the most important is how the runners feel.
