I was a L-1 Crossfit Trainer for 6 years, private one-on-one fitness coach for 4 years, and now transitioned to online running and strength coach. I love working with athletes from all backgrounds. Currently running trail ultramarathons for fun. When i’m not running or lifting i’m out hiking, surfing, and spending time with family/friends.
I like working with athletes who love to lift weights and run long/fast. This balance now referred to as “hybrid training”, but really has been around for years. Cross training helps take volume off of the runner during seasons where they might not be chasing a goal just yet. It allows for increased overall fitness and the stronger you are the more you can endure when your muscles get tired. I love to teach my athletes how to balance both weights and running.
