About Brian

In addition to coaching, I'm also an active participant in the endurance community. My current focus has been in trail running, and ultras, but I've done everything from sprint to full distance triathlons, century bike rides, and road 5k's to marathons, all while balancing a career and family, so I understand the challenges that training can present with busy lives. Most importantly, I love helping others not only achieve their endurance goals, but also help them discover the incredible community of athletes in the endurance world, and I try to emulate that through my coaching practice.

Coaching Philosophy

I have 8 pillars to my coaching philosophy:
Science-based coaching - my coaching is based on the latest science
Community - enjoying and contributing to the amazing endurance community
Personal journey - It's not just PR's and records, it's about the journey to get there
Improving health - exercise is a critical component of personal health and we're here to support it
Personal growth - endurance sports accomplishes so much more than faster times, and PR's, it positively impacts our daily lives
Inclusivity - everyone should feel free and safe to run wherever, whenever, and however they want to, all are welcome
Giving back - I believe in giving back to the community that has brought so much joy, through volunteering, and donating a portion of proceeds
Having fun - training can be hard, but we believe it can still be fun and we want everyone to enjoy being a part of this community
