10+ years
I have been coaching athletes for 14 years, full-time for the past 4 years. I work with athletes from absolute beginner, up to Ironman and Ultra triathlons, world class age groupers, and ultra-marathon runners.
As an athlete, I have a lifetime of experience in sports with a particular focus on endurance sports over the past 16 years. This has included 6 Ironman triathlons and many more 70.3's, two age-group world championships, 3 x 200 mile ultra-marathon finishes and many more ultra wins and finishes.
I also have 8 years of experience in education as a teacher and high school principal.
Our coaching philosophy has consists of key pillars; People, Passion, Performance.
We put our athletes first and recognise them as PEOPLE. When we build their programs, we take in to consideration their life and other commitments to ensure the program meets their athletic goals while considering family, work and life in general.
We have a great PASSION for endurance sports as both coaches and athletes ourselves, and work closely with out athletes to ensure they get what they need. This passion extends to a commitment to working with our local running community to build pathways for everyone to access endurance sports.
But we also aim to ensure high PERFORMANCE for all of our athletes, whether that is finishing their first 5k, or winning an age group world championship.
Our coaching is individualised to ensure you get the best out of yourself in both life and sport.
