About Shiva

Decade ago I was unsure I could even run 50 meters. Determined to improve my health, I joined RH, set small goals, & gradually built my endurance. Crossing the finish line of my first 5K ignited a passion for running. Since then, I’ve completed numerous marathons, five 50K races, & a 75K ultra marathon. Each race taught me resilience, discipline, & the thrill of community support. Running has transformed my life, proving that anyone can achieve their goals with determination. Very soon, I will be to starting my running group to help others & I'm excited for the challenges that lie ahead!

Coaching Philosophy

My coaching philosophy centers on the belief that running is not just about racing but embracing a lifelong journey. I prioritize consistency in training, understanding that gradual progress is key to avoiding injuries. It's crucial to integrate strength training and prioritize rest, ensuring that athletes develop a well-rounded approach to their fitness. I emphasize the importance of slowly increasing mileage to build endurance while maintaining a strong foundation. Most importantly, I encourage runners to find joy in the process, celebrating every step and accomplishment. By fostering a supportive environment, I aim to inspire individuals to make running a fulfilling and sustainable part of their lives.
As part of my running group, I want to emphasize that running can be a lifelong activity provided that we focus on correct aspects of running along with necessary strengthening.
