In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family, downhill skiing, golfing, and volunteering 2 days a week at the local animal shelter.
My goal for all my athletes is to have them reach the start line at their mental and physical peak. It is essential to maximize an athlete’s training time while minimizing physical and mental stress. Many things going into the creation of a personalized training plan including the athlete’s goals, experience, strengths, weaknesses and life limiters. Along that same line, educating an athlete is extremely important. I encourage athletes to ask questions and provide honest feedback as to what is working for them and what is not so I can ensure they are getting the most out of coaching!
I realize that life does not always go as planned and that training plans need to be flexible. Having a coach that can revise training plans as needed to ensure that training sessions are as high quality as possible is the key to success.
