I’ve experienced firsthand the value of a coach’s perspective, and I bring that same support and insight to everyone I work with. In addition to my UESCA certification, I’ve completed UC Boulder’s Science of Exercise course and always keep up with the latest developments in evidence-based training.
My own running journey began with training for a local trail half-marathon, which sparked a lifelong passion. A year later, I completed my first 50K and started competing seriously. Recent highlights include a podium finish at the Sean O’Brien 30K and a top-10 finish at UTMB’s Grindstone 50K.
I like to start by assessing your current strengths, weaknesses, and goals. Then I’ll develop an individualized training plan grounded in science and evidence-based practices. However, life’s demands—work, family, and the unexpected—require flexibility. We’ll adjust your training as needed to keep it in sync with your evolving fitness and circumstances. We control the plan; the plan doesn’t control us.
I take a broad view of coaching. I won't just prescribe some running workouts and expect you to achieve peak results. Running will be the foundation of your training plan but we'll address a number of things that impact your performance: strength, recovery, nutrition, mental performance, gear, race prep, and more.
