About John

As a competitive runner, John, a certified personal trainer and running coach, realized most runners will likely encounter injury at some point along their journey. While many running coaches can develop a solid training plan, John has successfully integrated run coaching with cutting edge strength and movement training which allow his clients to rack up long, uninterrupted blocks of training - the secret to getting faster over time.

Coaching Philosophy

Whether it's running your first 5K, earning that Boston Qualifier, or just staying injury free, I'll help you get there. My clients want to be confident they are running with proper form and training correctly, so that they're less likely to get hurt. And they're looking for someone who can tailor training plans to their hectic lifestyle—but still get results.

So, that's what I do.

For 24 years, I've helped frustrated runners from across the world with a positive, motivating coaching style and an unwavering belief that everyone can improve and continue doing what they love their entire lives.

I take a holistic approach and understand everything can affect everything. Sure, we may need to progress your run training, but we also may need to work on your nutrition, ability to move well, get stronger, sleep habits, or stress levels to reach your potential. It's a fun journey. Buckle up!
