About Kim

Hello! My running journey began later in my life as part of a total overhaul to my health. From there I found the running community and I found my people! I went from the couch to half marathon in 6 months, to first full marathon in a year and then to a 50 mile ultra in two years. I found my true passion in ultrarunning. I enjoy all of the challenges of accomplishing big distances. I have completed over 150 races in my running career up to the 100 mile distance. Professionally, I am a clinical psychologist so I am always thinking about the mental side of running as well.

Coaching Philosophy

As a coach, my goal is to help individuals of all abilities unlock their running potential and go beyond limits to become the best version of themselves. I believe the body is meant to move and that it can do much more than we ever imagine possible. I have worked with beginners to advanced ultramarathoners and find complete joy helping people achieve their goals. I believe in meeting runners where they are at in their journey and getting to know what they need to be successful. My coaching approach is based on the belief that we are all unique individuals with different needs so I want to get to know my athletes and create plans for training that work for them in their lives. I am passionate about endurance sports and the positive impact they can have on our lives. I always strive to share that passion and have fun with my athletes as we train for what they are about to achieve.
