About Danielle

Ever since my first day of cross country practice when I was just 12 years old, I fell in love with distance running. Over 15 years later, I've run 4 half marathons, 4 full marathons, countless 5Ks and 10Ks, and have recently started dabbling in trail races in my path to my first ultra marathon. Running has always been what lights my fire and has shaped me into the person I am today. I believe in its ability to give us courage, clarity and confidence. My mission is to make running accessible and exciting for others, and to help people find the joy in it that I love so much.

Coaching Philosophy

Running gets a bad rap for being too hard and only for those who are super speedy. I believe that the power of running lies in its community and the way it proves us to how much we are capable of– no matter what your starting point is. Running can be for everyone, and I love being able to show runners, whether first-timers of seasoned veterans of the sport, what they can accomplish with a little structure, motivation and hard work.
I've found in my experience of running that the secret to longevity, consistency and performance comes from having balance and inherent joy in our training. That means preventing burnout, having diversity in our training and always making room for outside-of-running priorities.
That secret sauce and the philosophy I bring into coaching my athletes is to always keep the fun in our running.
